A demonic entity with a frivolous, carefree attitude, Lorence parades as the irresponsible right-hand man of the Reverend Laurel of the Valrose Chapel. Although outwardly he appears to be self-serving and apathetic, he is surprisingly compassionate for the downtrodden and misfortunate, especially considering his background as a demon. It’s even more so of an enigma as to why such a virtuous heart decided to make a contract with such a cold-blooded and wicked priest.

The circumstances of his summoning and contract with Laurel remains shrouded in mystery.

Lorence is a travelling merchant who sells his wares between the four seasonal countries of the Voleros continent. One day, he comes across a young Einhorn noble, who fell asleep in the back of his cart, and despite their differences, the two begin travelling together. For all his textbook knowledge, the Einhorn is quite oblivious to the real world, so Lorence amusingly shows him around.

The hellhound's past is a bit of a mystery, but it seems he's no stranger to combat. He insists, however, that he is just a normal travelling pacifist and indeed it seems he prefers peaceful resolutions over violence. He enjoys the simplicities of life, like coffee, good company, and dancing.

The Wolf has dwelled in the Enchanted Forest for centuries feeding on the flesh of other beasts with an insatiable appetite. He rules the territory as the apex predator of the woods. When a small boy in a red cloak started to travel through the woods, the Wolf prowled after him in amusement that such a fragile thing would dare to travel in the domain of monsters. Gradually though, he becomes increasingly infatuated with the human and finds himself wrapped around those delicate little fingers. The tamed Wolf becomes a devoted Hound.

Lorence is the name that was given to him by Laurel. His true form is that of a monstrous eldritch wolf.

Lorenzo, also known by the more colloquial Lorence, is a devilkin who grew up in the impoverished outer ring of the Lorian capital. Abandoned as a child due to his devilish features, he was adopted and raised by the legless doctor Fiannon Pelagio as one of her own. In order to support his family, Lorence turned to unscrupulous means to survive, often stealing from Highborns of the inner rings. However, one day, he was wrongly accused of the murder of the High Priest Marcellus. Yet, on the night of his execution, he was unexpectedly pardoned by a young, newly appointed High Priest, and then... immediately forced into servitude.

A Lesser Demon who has existed within the Inner Rings of Hell. Lorenzo is known as the Champion of the Weak for his defiance against the unjust Heavens. He protects the weak and abandoned souls of sinners. Although he looks arrogant and domineering, he is surprisingly tender-hearted and particularly for those he cares about, he is endlessly loyal. A being born into sin with a compassionate heart.

Although he is a mere Lesser Demon, he holds a surprising amount of hidden strength and potential. His weapons of choice are his clawed hands, blade-like tail, and raging emerald Hellfire.
