Laurel Rose
The loveliest of roses bear the ugliest of thorns.
Laurel's personality and appearance go through various minute changes through out the different AU's but his consistent points are his white-blonde hair, honey-gold eyes, and his closed off personality. In some AU's, Laurel tries to be a better person, and in others he does not and falls into the role of the villain.

Laurel Rose
Reverend of the Valrose Chapel
He may be an ordained priest, but Laurel is by all means not a good person. He uses his natural intelligence for immoral schemes to gain influence and power. Although he is not cruel by nature, he is ruthless in the pursuit of his ambitions. It's not exactly clear what his end goals are, but what is certain is that he is willing to sacrifice his humanity to reach them.
Laurel is cold and distant; not easily approachable, yet he is strangely close to his cocky and flippantly roguish servant named Lorence.

Laurel Valrose
Einhorn Noble of Elornis
An aristocrat who is well-read, but not very connected to the outside world. Laurel is currently on the run due to internal succession problems, and came across the travelling merchant Lorence. He decided to travel with the hellhound and explore the wider world.
The Einhorn has a cold, haughty, and overall unapproachable attitude. Yet, despite his outer prickly nature, Laurel is actually quite a lonely individual who tends to isolate himself. Slowly, he's learning to overcome his insecurities and become more genuine as he travels with Lorence.

Little Red Riding Hood
Alias: The Huntsman
An orphan who was chosen to deliver the Witch’s offerings into the Enchanted Forest. He was expected to perish on his first journey, devoured by the beasts of the Forest, yet he returned unscathed. For two years, he has made this journey and was given the moniker of “Little Red-Riding Hood” for the red cloak he wears. Despite his youth, the boy is cold of heart and apathetic even in the face of bloodthirsty beasts.
Laurel encounters the most dangerous of all fiends within the Forest—the Wolf—and tames the unruly beast. Together, they slay the Witch of the Woods, and “the Huntsman and his Hunting Hound” are a name that ring with notoriety throughout the lands.

Laurel of Loria
High Priest of the Light Domain
Born from an affair between a nobleman and a prostitute, Laurel spent his formative years with his negligent mother at the whorehouse until one of his mother's customers recognized the boy's astuteness. The High Priest brought the young boy to the Temple of Loria to nurture his talents. At first just a mere servant, the ambitious and resourceful Laurel quickly rose to become a prominent figure. The night that he was finally anointed to High Priesthood, a lowly thief broke into the temple and murdered his mentor. Yet, Laurel unexpectedly pardons the thief to the suspicious whispers of his many enemies.
This version of Laurel is for my friend Kit's novel.

Lauriel of the Elohim
Executioner of Sinners
Known as the Victory of God, Lauriel is a High Seraphim tasked with the execution of Sinners. Ruthless, cold-hearted, and austere, he is a divinity well-feared amongst the denizens of Hell and respected amongst his peers in the righteous Heavens. Yet, such a heartless and apathetic being almost seems to be out of place amongst the ranks of the divine Heavens.
His signature weapon is a divine whip, golden and thorned, to cull all sinners. Eyes can open up all over his body and they are capable of discerning the aspect of the soul and the accumulation of sin.

Laurel Rose
Sister of the Valrose Chapel
To be written... Basically sapphic Priest AU.

There are many more AU versions of Laurel,
but these are just a few of my favorites!
